can anyone explain why we take so many 3s? We suck at them. It's absolutely no different than last year. I hate this style of basketball

Super fun when we’re hitting, super infuriating when we’re not. We’re getting manhandled by a bad team because they are playing smart team basketball
 
Pokes are 4 - 20 from the land of three (20%), and 11 - 37 on two point shots (29.7%).....not going to win too many games shooting it that bad.
 
We haven't went inside all game we just keep shooting and missing threes missing threes missing threes missing threes no rebounds no Hustle
 
It's like we're playing Cincinnati all over again but against a team we have no business losing to.

They would actually be 4-20 from 3 like you said but they would be 7-17 on 2's. I'm sure you already know but that 11-37 includes the 3 point shots.

we're 7-17 on two point shots.
 
Well, maybe the prognosticators are correct - the Pokes 7th in the MWC.
And look at the difference in the DU offense - they actually have plays and move the ball constantly, while the Pokes seem to be content to just jockey it around until they think someone is open (mostly for a 3). Did you see any passes to a Poke breaking for the basket. Pokes only got close in a couple times. I want to see Adams driving and picking up fouls, but I'm afraid this game is going down as an L. Mr. Edwards: DON'T LET DALTON SHOOT TODAY!

Got to agree with you. All we do is piss it around the perimeter and jack a three. That's ugly, stupid, mindless, unattractive basketball. We lack coaching
 
Edwards looks like a genius when the team is hitting but looks very suspect when they’re wallowing and needing some coaching. Tonight would fall into that category.
 
Isn’t this team supposed to be really good on defense? Isn’t that one of Edwards points of emphasis!?!? I don’t think we’ve had one stop when we need one tonight
 
We are not a great team. We rely on the three and have absolutely no ability to overcome when they’re not falling. I put most of that on Edwards.

Same crap as last year. live by the three die by the three. Edwards has improved as a coach absolutely zero from last year. Here comes another 8-10 or 7-11 conference record. Sucks coming to grips with reality. I thought we may actually be good this year

I thought we’d be better as well. If we can’t beat a bad DU team on the road we’re never going to beat a MWC team on road. No chance on winning conference or a top 3 finish
