Wyoming at SDSU

ok, i know a few guys where predicting a Wyo win tonight without the boss. I can't remember who but I'm looking at you beaverpoke. Whoever thought we'd stroll into san diego minus the boss and martinez and come out with a win, you need your head examined. This game could have been ugly if those two had been there. On a positive note, sounds like Sellers scored. Against their backups? I'm going to read posts now.
 
Outrebounded 35-16, shot 35%. Sorry, I can't be ok with that, away game or not. No one earned their scholly tonight. Until Shy gets some consistent shooters (plural, we have seen what losing Martinez did to us), this is where we are going to be in MWC play. Lost 2 to BSU, took OT (and Washington) v Fresno, etc etc.
 
Oh man leave the Beav alone... the most optimistic Poke fan out there ... go get some of that college age stank tonight for me Beav...please ...I'm just a lonely old man... :mrgreen:

Obviously there is a reason he doesn't play. I think most of the posts on this thread are sort of semi-joking. It was such a sad display of basketball that we had to find some amusement.

I will give Matt plenty of credit, he obviously doesn't have the athleticism to handle things at this level (lateral quickness, bounce, etc.), but he came in ready to play tonight when he had his chance and the baseline hooks he made were things of beauty.

I wish that some of our better athletes (Nance, Cooke) could develop a post move 1/2 that effective. With Cooke's size and lift he could get that shot off against anybody.

I really wonder if Nance still has wrist issues or something else going on. He has been nearly invisible since that injury.

I'm pissed. We couldn't hit the broadside of a barn, they were on fire, our D broke down due to injuries.... Basically we played Schroyer ball.

Some of us have been fans since before you were born. You'll understand (although I truly hope not) in about 10 years. The pump can only handle sunshine for so long...

but inside all of us Cowboy fans who didn't have the forums or internet in those early years we all laughed at your comment then we all thought back when when we were that age. When I say all i'm only speaking for myself but I'd be willing to be any 30+ Cowboys fan felt the same way.

He outplayed Cooke and Nance. Shoot Cooke and Nances numbers combined didn't equal Sellers

I was also impressed with Haldorson. He had 4 I believe and a blocked shot.
