Wyoming at San Diego State thread

Pathetic coaching, Glenn ought to be ashamed. Fricken coach the game you idiot! This team played so uninspired
 
I am DONE with this team,,, SWEEN is SOO freakin terrible... Our play calling is the worst in the nation. I fel SO bad for our great Defense to have to be on the same team with the O. Maybe we can at least beat CSU.... Maybe... F&^%
 
Disappointing loss for the Pokes.. Sween played pretty effective football, until that last pick..
 
WE NEED TO FIRE OUR FRINKING OC!!!!

A buddy of mine's 6-year-old daughter could've done better as a OC!!!
 
Spin just mentioned to me about the 3 running plays after the 75 yard punt.. what gives? You're playing a game of field position, and after a monster punt the plays should be running the ball.
 
And really, until Sween's last pass he did everything we needed him to do.. not turn the ball over. That's all we needed, the running game should be HUGE for us, but it's not.. we have one of the best tandems in the country, one of the best backs in the MWC in Moore.. we should be POUNDING the ball.. but we're not. What gives??
 
We need to do something, cuz this s@@t isn't doing it on O.
Honestly, I am truely embarassed! I love our D..but our O is a f'n joke!!
How much worse can that be???
oh and stop throwing to hoost cuz more than half of sween's picks have gone from hittin the top of hoost's 5'6 head!!
 
Like I said in an earlier post - no heat, no win.
If Glenn doesn't get it by now (that Cockhill is a loser) and get rid of him, then Glen
has to go. Look Joe, I don't care if you can sing "Cowboy Joe". I don't care that you read
"The Power of Positive Thinking". I don't care that you are so sickeningly "Rah, Rah" all
the time. How about using your brain a few times?
My prediction: Glenn closes out with three losses - a 5 - 7 season.
And next year won't be much better if Cockhill stays. His game style may work for Ohio State
or some power team, but not here.
 
Ok, don't throw Glenn under the bus...cockhill will be gone at the end of the year.
And lay off glenn, he's getting looks from much BETTER schools than wyo but he loves it here.
Cockhill's offense/playcalling wouldn't work for a highschool team...let alone the #1 team in the nation...come on thats just dumb.

I don't want Glenn but throw Cockhill under a bus, an elephant, under a 25-ton boulder, ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!

This is Glenn's team, his team had their heads down while they were winning the damn game!!!!! They played unenthusiastic and careless, thats where coaching comes in!!!!!! Unbelievable....
 
you could say that about the O but not the D!
no way!! the D was fiery and pissed off the entire game..i like that
the O....well....i dont even know where to start
 
Actually, the defensive line and the linebackers are the good part of the defense. Not so for the secondary, no matter how much old #20 gets unjustly hyped. Think about it -- O'Donnell ran all over the backfield and usually found an open receiver (luckily he didn't connect that often). But percentage-wise, Sween had a great deal of trouble finding an open receiver. Meaning that SCDU secondary was MUCH better than the Pokes'. Like I said earlier, if the line doesn't get to the QB, a viable pass will be made on the Wyo secondary.
Of course this could be secondary coaching.
 
I am STIll SO Freakin' pissed about the game, that will ruin my whole week. I think I am so mad b/c we lost to an inferior team. Yes, their secondary is better accross the board, but there is now way we should lose to that team. Breaks my stupid heart when we throw a potentially great year with lots of talent and great defense down the crapper.. Cockhill MUST go.... TODAY!!! AARRRGGHH!!

I agree with you. We should only have one loss right now - BSU. I knew we were in trouble even when we were up 21 - 0 because the only way our offense was getting to the end zone was when our defense gave the offense the ball in real good field position after a fumble recovery or interception. I'm afraid we are going to get steam rolled the next couple of weeks. I sure hate to see all this talent go to waste.
 
Yeah, it was a bad loss. But, I won't say that the D kept their heads up. When you have the lead and you've stopped the Opponent all game and then allow a comeback like that, there's nothing to be proud of. Especially giving up the last drive to give them the win. No desire to win.
And you can't blame the coaches on desire. A coach can only push a kid so far, the kid has to perform. And the entire team stalled out. Yes, I'm agreeing that we need a new OC. Only 200+ yards this game to a lower tier team. That is an emarrasment.
I don't believe that we'll lose out, but you never know, I didn't think we'd lose to SDSU either. So I'm seeing anywhere between 6-6 and 5-7., Which is pretty close to where I predicted at the beginning of the year.
But this is kinda reminding me of a similar situation involving another Joe. Joe Tiller. Maybe since we have most of our starters returning and key players returning, we'll bust out a huge season like we did in 96. Because these last two years have reminded me very much of the 94 (6-5) and 95 (6-6) seasons. Next year might look pretty darn good.
