I knew the offense needed to score more than 20 to win this game. Only one conclusion, this loss is squarely on the defense. How dare they not pitch a shutout or keep AF under 6 pts after spending most of the game on the field. How dare they expect the offense to score 20 pts. That's just absurd. We should win every game by scoring no more than 17 pts, EVER. End of story.

On the positive side, the offense clearly did their jobs. That nose tackle is gonna be feeling it for a week. That's the important thing. We ran it up the middle SOOO HARD!

Did you like the playcalling on our 2nd to last drive with 5 minutes left after the big kickoff return down 2 scores?

I personally think going no huddle at that time, not waiting till 2 sec were left on the clock, wasting 38 seconds of the clock of each play, and not calling multiple run plays, instead at least trying a few to the endzone would have been far better rather than wasting 3 and half minutes of the remaining 5 minutes of clock and settling for a fg.

I would say 4 other teams were successful doing it. The 4 others that beat us. We had plenty of 3 and outs in all our losses due to teams successfully clogging up the middle on defense

Thank you! We’ve consistently shown that we don’t pass well and have won all our games by running. We got manhandled on the O-line. I’m more disappointed in the coached by the fact Levi wasn’t in the whole game. I think we had a chance after Levi’s 38 yard run but then TVW throws that pick.

I would say 4 other teams were successful doing it. The 4 others that beat us. We had plenty of 3 and outs in all our losses due to teams successfully clogging up the middle on defense

Idaho and Texas state did it fairly well too, and we almost lost those (287 yards of offense vs Idaho, 293 vs Texas State (Tyler Hall saved our asses with his 72 yard interception TD in that one)).

Our o line got demolished all game and we kept trying to run it up the middle regardless. The only thing AF did was keep the handfull of 10 + yd runs we usually get a game in check. Other than that, we got the same absurd number of runs of 2-3 yds or fewer we have against every opponent.

Besides, who needs adjustments. Lax and 307bball will defend this coaching staff to the end and throw the players under the bus or give the other team credit every time, and then Lax will call anyone who points out the obvious wankers. You guys crack me up. I really hope Bohl and Vigen send you two a nice Christmas card for your spin work, you deserve it. You should get a jobs as a political commentator you two spin so good.

TVW substitutions and clock mismanagement are indefensible.

Play calling? I don't think play calls were the reason for the loss. The turnovers, drops, and poor line play were big issues. That said, the offense is a wreck.

I think this means we won't beat a team in the top 65 or so in 5 of 6 years. The offense just isn't good enough to beat better teams
