WYO vs.NMS

TVW made a good throw on the incompletion to Fort. Why not open the offense up a little and stretch the field?

This. Let the kid throw it. Maybe throw it on 1st down down the field? I hope Fort is OK

How can the score be so low when NMS has only 1 1st down and 10 yards offense? Two NMS fluke offensive plays and they are back in the game. Could it be that Bohl is holding back on offense for next week? Only one long pass and vanilla running plays.

Also really hope Fort's okay. Him walking off is a good sign, but on the other hand, you can walk even after an ACL tear. :-/

1 word; Vigen.

We can only hope he's holding back. I can see the talent out there

Preaching to the choir, but I think this first half is more about our defense than NMSU's offense.

Not concerned about going "vanilla." That's what a ball-control offense is going to do. That's not Vigen, it's Bohl. No matter who the OC is, they're going to run the ball to keep the clock moving, especially when up two scores and with a dominant defense.

Or maybe the fact we have a freshman QB and an extremely young and inexperienced line. The team is doing what it needs to do to win football games plain and simple.

It's not ball control when we start going three and out because the other team adjusted and we didn't.
That said, the play action call where TVW simply missed the toss could've been a first down.

Urgh, poor execution on that play action. Should've been a first down. Glad we didn't run up the middle on second down, though!
