WYO vs. LOBOS

Maybe Shyatt is "critical of online posters" to back his players up?

Maybe the coaches don't care. Maybe they never read anything on here.
But maybe he hears the kids talking about how people on wyonation or people on twitter said something negative about them?

So then Shy says "fuck the haters!" so the players realize he has their back?

Coaching in this day of technology really does involve figuring out how to deal with social media.

I am pretty sure this is basically what happens.

I can pretty much guarantee that coach Shyatt and none of the coaching staff gets on these boards at all. Some of the players might but I think more of what happens is that other students or friends that know the players or people on staff read these boards and then things get back to them. Then he sticks up for them which he should.

There are people at UW that watch these boards and I am sure they report a lot of what is said on here to both football and basketball staff.

I know there are people that watch the boards.

I was with a certain player, posted something, then his position coach called him to make sure nothing stupid was going to happen because of it.

What I had posted wasn't bad, or inappropriate, but they were on that like stink on shit.

And hell, I remember on Derek Cooke's twitter people on there were specifically talking about how people on Wyonation are old bitter people

We aren't as disconnected as we might think.

Sometimes I wish we could be. It's great to be a fan of a team, remove the human element of it.

Hell, the way the Broncos were dropping passes today and the stuff I was saying, I would NEVER say in front of them lol. Being a fan we just want to look at the team as a form of entertainment, not humans that we may or may not know.

I didn't think the team had a snowball's chance in hell of winning at The Pit after losing to San Jose State Junior College. Color me very surprised, and dead wrong. Josh Adams is a stud. This team is maddeningly unpredictable!
