I'm not arguing with you. I think HS has failed at every level. My point (maybe not stated very well) is coaching is only part of the problem. Whoever replaces HS will have to recruit a whole new team because there is literally next to nothing to work with now.

Jackson is legit and Thiam/Mbaye could be solid. I don't know why Gibson doesn't see more time. Afam and Waddell are basically done. Put them next to Boobs. Cruz actually showed some flashes. Jaydee is not a D-1 point guard unfortunately. I like the kid but he just doesn't have enough.

Speaking of rebounding....It's hard to rebound when we come and huck up shots within seconds of crossing half court. How many times did CSU miss badly just to have a guy by the rim for an easy put in? I don't think HS knows anything about post play. Dribble drive and shoot is not an offense. How often do we pass it three or four times and find a guy under the rim? Never.

Cruz is the slowest D1 guard I've ever seen. Every csewe guard took him off the dribble last night. When we had Tyson Johnson, we threw it to him in the post all the time. Is it possible that we don't post up Thiam/M'baye because when we do, they A) dribble the ball off their foot B) throw up a wild shot or C) get double teamed and then travel or throw it away? If all the Wyoming players suddenly became available to other teams, just who would be snapping them up? This is the same team that fell behind UNC by 31-4. A UNC team that's 6-7.

By the way, I'm glad when we came down and hucked it up. At least we get a shot up. How many times in our 1/2 court offense do we turn it over before we even get a shot up?
