My friend who started his shoe company Hypo Footwear now has a sister website for all his UW apparel called HYPO University, the website is hypoU.com, he has WYO apparel along with sneakers with the steamboat logo. He can do custom apparel as well. He has offices in Laramie, Loveland and Denver. He has been in contact with the cowboy joe club, the alumni association and other UW departments for future collabs. He is also in talk with some celebrities to endorse his next round of shoes that will be released in 2019.
The CEO/Founder is a Laramie native and UW alum and he has a lot of family still living in Laramie. You should see people wearing some of his stuff this weekend at the game.

This is the kind of thing that makes me run away from any seller. For reference, Amazon (who loves tracking all things you do) have about 10. I don't mean to be negative about your friend's business, but they might be interested in knowing that over-the-top marketing/tracking scares a lot of people away these days.

He just launched the page today. I don't know what over the top marketing tactics you are referring too. He is just a good dude, trying to do his thing. Believe me shoes are a different animal than apparel and it cost a lot more to manufacture. The business has come a long way in short time.

Hmm, then whatever platform he's using (is it pure Shopify or maybe a combination of tools?) uses a ton of crappy trackers by default.

I'm just saying that when my plugins (like Privacy Badger) tell me somebody's trying to track everything I do on the web, I get annoyed. Many people don't care at all, I just happen to do.

its shopify. I am not that paranoid. The site is legit and secure. Hypo has cool stuff, and some cool sneakers in development for 2019.
