Welp we're heading into the wolf's den bloody and bruised. Anybody else as scared as me about this game? Fuck I hope we can hold it within 10 points, d up, and hit an unusual amount of 3's. Man would I love to somehow see some unreal performance were we pull off a little smash and grab win on the road. I can barely see how we can win this while drinking all the brown and gold juice, smoking all the brown n gold drugs, while sleeping with a brown and gold woman, in a brown n gold delusional world. Anyone else feeling like me? Is this mono thing over yet? Nope....SSSSHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTT!

This was supposed to be our fucking year FUCK!
 
We are headed into the wolfs den bloody and bruised... but they are the wolf that should be scared. We are a fucking pissed off grizzly bear. We just are going to make up for the loss. We are going into their house. Backing them into their corner. And going for the kill. They are just as scared. They know they have been playing poorly. They don't wanna play a pissed off team right now.

This is our year. We will get this win.
 
i hope we do, but I sure doubt Larry will make the trip, why risk it or anything, maybe our team learned something from a poor showing at Air Force, but at worst we'll be in 2nd place instead of tied for 1st, I'm ok with that as well.
Now if SDSU plays poor I want our others to get it together.
 
I think we win this game. I don't know why everyone is so scared of SDSU this year. Honestly. They are very good defensively, but they're simply horrible on offense. When we're healthy, we're a damn good defensive rebounding team. We had some bad luck in the last matchup and SDSU shot much better from the field and FT line than they usually do. They only beat us by 8. The game was ugly, but we had a shot to make it a 1 possession game in the last minute.

We don't get fazed by rowdy road environments, which is all SDSU's home floor is. They don't shoot well at home and horrible on the road. They just don't shoot well altogether.

Pokes win, and all this drama is in the rear view mirror.

When we are healthy we are a damn good defensive rebounding team, but we aren't healthy...

I wish I could be as confident. We barely beat SJSU on the road with a full team and just got blown out by a sub 250 RPI team. SDSU isn't a good offensive team, but I'm not sure we're that much better when healthy and they are a much better defensive team. Aside from CSU, whom we appear to match up well against, have you seen anything on the road this year from Wyoming to make you feel this confident? Wyoming's poor road presence to date is I think why many people are scared of this game. SDSU may only score 45-50 points against us, but I'm not sure we score 35-40 with a team missing Nance and Herndon or those two at less than 100%.
 
Yeah, we won at CSU and Fresno. The first of which nobody will do. The second of which nobody has since, I believe.

The SJSU was bad, but how in the hell can that single win tattoo this team for a season? SDSU has ALMOST lost at home to AF, UNLV, and NM...all teams that we are better than.

We ALMOST lost to 2 of those 3 at home as well, and the 3rd one kicked our butts on the road. Not sure what point you're trying to make...?

How would you feel as an Air Force fan if you were down 2 starters and pancaked Wyoming by 23 and a WYO fan said they were still better than you? Our argument as to why we're more deserving than CSU as a tournament team is the head to head, so shouldn't an Air Force fan feel the same? Head to head?

And if it wasn't for a dumb Greenwood foul we'd have lost to UNM at home instead of won by a point, which since SDSU also won by small margin not sure the point you are making as previously pointed out?

All I have to say to not only you, but to others doing the same thing, you all need to :cool: chill.
Otherwise I will feel the need to give you a big fat :thumbdown:

We need to sit back and see what Shy can accomplish with some of our young guys. :popcorn:

Cosmic is right this could get really ugly. No Nance no chance.
 
I feel better about this game knowing that the Air Force game was as FUBAR as you could possible get. We looked like dog poop for a reason - we thought we would have Larry and didn't get to prepare for a game without him.

Having said that, we are going to get steamrolled on the glass, we won't be able to get to the rim much against them and O'Brien and Chol will have their way with us down low. The only way we win this game is if we are hitting our threes. If we are hitting perimeter shots it will open up driving lanes and change the complexion of their defense.
 
Has anyone heard, one way or the other, the status of Nance or Herndon for tomorrow? Did they make the trip west? Been surprisingly quiet this week...

I don't think they have left yet. Will probably leave this afternoon. That being said I'm not sure if we will find out if they made the trip until tomorrow. I doubt they will tip their hand to SDSU for whether we will have Nance and Herndon too early. I think they play but that is just my opinion.

I said that we almost lost to some teams as well. My point is that SDSU is just about as invincible as Wyoming is. We have a good team. We have a better team than the bunch that almost won in San Diego. People are acting like we have the same chances of winning there as SJSU.
