Thoughts? Any specific players you'll be watching? Or people for that matter (Callhoun/DC)?

Key to this game will be the defense. I have no doubts we are going to score on AFA - pretty much at will, as long as we come out strong in the first quarter.

On defense, defending the option (and with a "now" passing capable QB at the helm) - you gotta be all over your assignments and execution. It all starts with the big guy in the middle, always taking out the FB. From there, well, you all know as you have watched AFA football before. DB's need to be on their game, and never let a WR behind them - and the loss of speed at LB (#45 / #21) may have a big impact.

I'm definitely worried about our linebackers as well. I wanted to see WAKA WAKA WAKA WAKA WAKA level somebody every time they try going wide.

I was told yesterday that Wacha was a full participant in practice

That is great news! What about Mark Nzeocha?

Wasn't it DC during fall practice that said Mark was the most athletic LB he had ever coached, and maybe the most athletic LB in the country?

I just talked to Mike Vorel and he told me that Nzeocha wore red on Wed. but didnt seem serious and to expect him to play. Wacha suffered a minor concussion, seems fine but he isn't sure if he will play since concussions are handled delicately now days. He also said we will know by noon tomorrow

Nzeocha wore red all week didn't he...(although not sure today)?

If it is a minor concussion, he will test, and be released to play. Good news - as long as he doesn't re-injure or do something to make it worse.

Nzeocha is not injured, he wore red one day and that was because he was sick at practice, he is good to go.
