WTF happened to our BIG cannon?

The official word I got from the CJC is that people were complaining that it was too loud, and complaining that it MAY be damaging the video board. Blue hairs with deep pockets strike again

Pretty sad that something like this wins out over tradition, if we don't have tradition wtf do we have? I can't ever remember not having the cannon go off after every score.

I am betting it is because of the very last suite at the wildcatter part. I go up there for most games. The people in the very last suite on the north end are a bunch of old, decrepit people who complain about everything.

Unless its supposed to be a 20 ft long barrel, it was the cannon. It was in the same spot, but in the trees and faced away from the stadium, but it was still there.
