I don’t even know if we should be happy about this game to be honest. I mean, they won, but it’s pretty clear they are terrible.
Terrible play calling or terrible injuries?
Tell me an offense in G5 that wouldnt struggle with a Frosh Qb. What is it, two or three fresh linemen? How many got hurt today? And to top it off our top two top RB’s are out which leaves us with a 3rd string Fresh. Let’s see what else we could add to the list that would plague an offense...
We have two TE’s out with injury. We have two experienced WR’s Conway/Price. Other than that we have year one Ismail and year two, little experience Scott/okwali. Oh, and to top it all off one of our speedy offensive weapons quit the team for “personal reasons”.
Am I missing anything???
Kansas, I respect your opinion. Aren't the coaches responsible for not having classes distributed a bit better? I understand starters getting hurt, but why not go after some JC guys to pad your bench a bit? I know there are problems with credits transferring, and all of that, but damn, other schools have injuries and still manage to have more than freshmen and red shirt freshmen on the bench. I actually think Wofford had better O linemen than Wyoming and if they can recruit to an FCS school, shouldn't Wyoming be in an advantageous position if competing for the same recruits? What needs to be done differently? Thanks in advance for your answer.
