With so many coaches coming from NDSU.

Outside of the 4 and 5 star recruits, it is a crap shoot. Some of those kids don't even work out.

Bohl will have immediate success if he can just get line play. If you have outstanding line play, you will do very well in the MWC every year. If you combine that with good skill players, you can have a great season.

I think the Mid-West approach will help the lines and should help our record. I'll take that for now.

He needs to get line play, and he needs to maintain recruits who will make plays. He needs to continue to get Alvester Alexander's, Shaun Wicks, Robert Herrons and even Brett Smith's...
If he doesn't you will have Joe Glenn all over again. Good line play, no playmakers. Hence, why we had hardly any passing game and a mediocre rushing game throughout his tenure.

Mediocre rushing game?
Aren't Demo and Wynell both in the Top 5 for all time Wyo rush yards AND weren't they in the same class?

Seldon was good, but he never had 1,000 yards. Moore reached 1,000 his sr year. And neither of them had gawdy numbers. They were good, but they were all we had. Shoot I remember everyone talking up Ford as our best WR, his best year was a little over 4 or 500 yards. Hardly playmaking ability. Our QBs were mediocre,

As I said, we will need to maintain finding true diamonds in the rough, like Smith, Herron and even Wick to be competitive.

Recruiting at Wyoming isn't going to change. What needs to change is player development.

We are never going to beat out any BCS school for players. Boise didn't used to do it either. All of their first round draft picks had WAC or no offers at all before turning into monsters there.

We need to find tough kids who want to win. Craig Bohl is one hell of a coach who has proven he can develop kids to compete at any level.

We must have been watching different Joe Glenn teams. I don't remember WYO having good lines in long time. Maybe back to Dimmel?

The d-lines could be decent some years.

I would agree with decent at stopping the run in most MWC games. Good offenses still lit us up. We haven't had a d line that could generate a significant pass rush in I don't know how long.

Well, 3-4 d-linemen aren't really meant to be passrushers. The Buck linebacker (who also drops into coverage), yes, but the d-linemen are meant to be runstoppers. Nosetackle to plug up the middle, and two DEs that would be DTs in a 4-3 defense to seal up the edges. If they can put on a good passrush, that's great, but not a requirement for 3-4 d-linemen.
