I think you have to go back to 1923 when UW went 0-8. 265 PA, 16 PG. Yep, 2 points per game. Has there been a worse team since that? In any era? Not saying our current team will come even close but will we win this year? Who will we beat if we can't beat ND, EM or NM? :-|
 
Maybe Vegas, but I doubt it. We look so slow, small, and frankly, not athletic. I have never been so disappointed in this team.
 
We might beat UNLV. Right now, I agree, we just look out of sorts. Too small, too inexperienced, and now we get to the meat of the scheduled. I thought yesterday might be the moment we put everything together, and we had few bright spots, but this is still too much of a work in progress.
 
I see young players making plays here and there. There are small positives, but my biggest disappointment is the overall lack of ability in the trenches. Bohl era will never reach its potential if those guys don't dominate, and we're eons away from dominating.
 
Vic Koenning all over again. An outdated offensive style: One or two backs in the I and either run it straight ahead or pass it. The vast sets and plays by New Mexico was a joy to watch (the loss wasn't, of course). And, Bohl, work on tackling - forget about how strong these guys are and how many weight lifting records they set. Oh, by the way, 0-12 or maybe 1-11, but not from a lack of effort.
