Since UW hasn't updated their pics since September, would someone in Laramie please head over to the stadium and snap a couple? Us out of towners sure would love to see the progress

I will try and take some tonight (before the women's game). Mr. T., will you post them for me if I send them to you...I am techno (not dancing but computer) challenged.

It keeps telling me "page not found" and the pics are not showing up on this site either. Maybe try photobucket?

Sorry about that.

Here is the direct page on my site where you can see them. I'll work on posting a copy elsewhere for easier viewing.

Of course! :)

Nirv, great pics so far. Looks like it's coming along rather nicely.. and much better than last time we saw pics, when it was on fire. :)

Thank you guys, I really appreciate it. Looks like the project is really coming along nicely. Weather doesn't look that good though ;)

Thanks!

I think these look really nice and it doesn't appear to me that this is some haphazard add-on like you see in a lot of stadiums (i.e. Boise's cluster ++++, et al). They look like they were part of the original design and should appear great on TV as they are the away side of most cameras. I am shocked, however, of how far they come down into the stadium. Also, why didn't they take these all the way to the ends? Now there is going to be obstructed views for sell-outs...

Big fan overall, but I don't want to be in them but rather need to be rubbing elbows and high fivin' with the rowdy bunch in the stands. I have sat in quite a few suites in the past and unless it is super cold out, they suck if you have a rooting interest in the game. We'll see if I feel the same way in November :)

The pictures of the stadium side are kind of misleading. The Wildcatter doesn't come down that far...there is scaffolding set up (covering in plastic) for the workers to do exterior work on this winter.

Agree about the corners...holy shit...who wants to sit up there next to the snobby area and only be able to see from the 40 yard line out? Yuck...dumb design, but maybe it had to do with the original stucture and how much it could support.

And yes, agree again, you won't catch me hob-knobbing with the snoots in the Wildcatter. I will be passing the Jack in the section below, yellin' loud for my POKES! Regardless the weather!

Makes a lot morse sense now - should've realized that. Once the scaffold is removed, it looks like there won't be any obstructed views then - at least of the field. Good looking design by the architect!

Even in pictures I have from the Texas game, it looks like the Wildcatter section spans the entire length of the stadium seating.. so if there were any obstructed views, I think it would be in the very top most corners of the stadium.. if that. Obviously we cannot have obstructed views as that would be cause for fans to get real pissy w/ the athletic dept.. I think it'll be okay for everyone.

And whomever said something about the Boise press boxes/luxury seats... LOL! What the F is this??? It's hanging over the side of the stadium!
