It made sense with Stratton. He was a good HS QB with experience running the option. But you want to put the ball in the hands of 3 defensive players? That could only end badly. I think it adds to the playbook - being primarily my thought. And as far as defensive players - you need to look at the 3 that I mentioned individually (it isn't like we are snapping the ball to a guy with no skills):
Huff - great hands, PR / KR, played O in HS, etc.
Wacha - former Offensive MVP in HS, played first base in HS, and is lightening fast & tough
Nzeocha - as DC has put it, the most athletic kid he has ever coached
We do.
