- Regis is coached by Rex Walters, who gave Sunny a chance in Arizona. He would be coaching if Rex hadn't believed in him.
- Khaden Bennett's brother plays for Regis
- There's lots of talent on the Wyoming roster, but toughness is a talent. They need to be committed to during the hard things.
- This team needs to focus on the margins between winning and losing
- Wyoming is very capable on offense this year
- Rex is the guy that told Sunny to be the juice man, to lean into who he is
- Micah Curtis is going to take a while to get into the fold. Back injuries take a while to heal up.
- Neil Summers made the Ramsey conditioning test yesterday
- Naz is PG1
- Parker Gerrits is the leader of the team right now
- Parker is a great defender and great communicator
- Parker is the culture guy on the team, much like Cole Henry and Kiani Saxon were
- How you play is what's important. The opponent doesn't matter. Staying consistent in what you're doing is the key.
- Naz has shown a really great ability to create for others
- Sunny compares Naz to Maldonado. Different players, but similar vision.
- The staff is trying to prepare Naz to be the key of other teams scouting reports. He's going to be double and triple teamed.
- No redshirts means we may see any player on any night
- Sounds like the 4 players at the end of the bench are Ruf, de Martin, Pohl, and Gruver
- Ruf isn't ready from a physical standpoint. His team in Germany didn't have him in nearly as good of shape as he'll need to be.
- Ruf has a really good basketball mind and IQ, but physically he's not ready
- Neil has had a constant daily commitment to get in shape. He still needs to build some self confidence, though.
- You're not going to see a deep bench in the first few games
- If Sunny starts playing 14 players in a game we're in trouble
- Offense is way ahead of the defense right now
- Mattia, Linus, and Canin weren't around for summer workouts
- Wyoming isn't going to speed things up this year like they did last year
- The team has much better size this year, and they're going to use that to their advantage
