Why recruiting stars mostly means nothing

For some reason, I get the feeling that Bohl is either going to either do extremely well at UW or fail miserably. I can't put my finger on it, but I just feel like we are either going to be in the top 25 in 3 years…or we are going to be staring at a record of 0-12. I know which one I prefer, but it's going to be entertaining either way.

This is my feeling as well. Bohl deserves a pass on the first recruiting class.....one month to recruit is brutal.

But I agree, I think there is no in between with Bohl. He either very much is the developmental genius fans think he is and ushers in a potentially great era in Wyoming football, or he's way in over his head and ushers in a debacle similar to the Koenning era. I can't say much for the future.....I need to see more recruiting classes than this one.....but 2014, just being real....no sugar-coating anything.....gun to my head? 3-9 or 4-8. It will take time to rebuild this ship without Smith leading the way.

And depending on who Bohl recruits, that will either be a bad thing OR a good thing. The "future" will arrive sooner rather than later in this regime.

I would still say though not to judge him based on wins/losses after his second season either. Still too soon. It takes time to build a program.

In Minnesota, Jerry Kill went 4-12 his first two B1G seasons. The way some of you here are talking about Bohl, that conference record for Bohl would be grounds for removal.

bohl and staff could care less about stars, they want attidudes and players that are well conditiioned and are willing to WIN! not "look at me, look at my stars " types of kids
