I'm glad I didn't get what I wanted. kudos to burman on this deal. He really couldn't have gotten a better person and coach. I think I'll be pleased regardless of how shyatt does.

Plus Billy G would have ditched the program first chance he got. Shyatt wants to retire here after bringing the Pokes back up to standard.

This guy is a train wreck that leaves a mess in his wake. Couldn't be happier with Burman's choice.

For clarification purposes...Shyatt / Duncan was NOT Burman's choice. More like a committee, driven heavily by alumni influences, boosters, and Buchanan. That is why it was a good decision...and why that particular direction was chosen. Again, NOT because of Burman.

If you want to look at Burman's hires, give credit where it is due with Branch, but also look at Schroyer, (and the incredible hires in...Women's Golf, Soccer, Volleyball, Rebholz, etc).
