4th and 5 at AFA 44 Jason Thompson pass incomplete to Chris McNeill, broken up by Chris Miller.

So 4 rushes for 11, 6, 9, then 5. Then they decide to pass three straight times when we hadn't been catching the ball since it started raining. We had plenty of time, in fact it would have been beneficial to use some of it up. WTH?

you should be able to expect your revievers can catch a screen and thats what happened. they dropped screen after screen. I agree we should have kept pounding them but we throw a screen and off the hands and to the ground time after time

Another reason we kept passing too that people may forget - we got OWNED by their run blitzes a few times, but at least twice we false started and just lost 5 yards as opposed to 5-10 yards + a down. If we hadn't given them any reason at all to stay honest, they would've sold out against the run and we wouldn't have moved the ball at all.

We punished their d line so bad during the 1st half if we had just kept running in the 2nd half they would have been gassed and completely beaten with no opportunity. The fact we went to the air, It caused a number of issues when it was not warranted. It turned into a momentum swing because we went 3 and out and it gave their defense a much needed rest.

CDC coached us out of a win 1 of 2 ways either letting the pass calls make it into the game or making the pass calls himself. We win this game if we just jeep pounding the ball against their undersized d line.

When we were passing the ball flawlessly in the first half nobody questioned the passing plays. The pokes just didn't make the plays when they needed to in the second half. The weather really hurt us and made us one dimensional and Air Force is much better at running the game out then we are.

Yeah we did gas their line, but not their LB's and CB's who started blitzing and staying in the box in the second half.
