Well, now that it is July it means 2 things.
1. Conference landscapes changed again (Big East is now the American Athletic Conference, SJSU&USU are in the MWC to start)
2. Football officially starts next month! At the end of the month yes, but it is still next month.
To keep this board from going completely dead, I want to know who everyone thinks is going to win each conference.
I'll start.
AAC-Louisville
ACC- Va. Tech over Clemson
Big12- TCU
Big10- Ohio State over Nebraska
CUSA- La. Tech over ECU
MAC- Toledo over Bowling Green
MWC- Boise St. over Fresno St.
Pac12- Oregon St. over Arizona St.
SEC- Florida over Alabama
SunBelt- Arkansas St.
Also, how weird is it that there is no WAC?
I picked Louisville because they just won the Sugar Bowl and they have Bridgewater, you know that kid that is almost as good as B-Smith but has a way better line.
Va. Tech over Clemson because Clemson is good lately but can never quite make it all the way, and Va. Tech is due for another big year.
TCU because Pachall is back.
Ohio State over Nebraska because Urban Meyer knows how to run a college football team, plus they went undefeated last season, and Nebraska should get in because they have the easier road through that division IMO.
La. Tech over ECU because even though La. Tech lost their QB, they still scored the most points in football last season and ECU just seems like they are the best in their division.
Toledo winning because their QB that did really well last season is back.
Boise St. because they are still in a league above everyone else in the MWC and Fresno because I think they are clearly the strongest team in that division.
The Beavers! Because they had Stanford beat last season, return a whole bunch of starters, and get USC and Stanford in Corvallis. Plus I think the Ducks fall off w/out Kelly. And ASU wins the south because their QB is a total bad ass.
Florida because I think they have a really good program and are ready to be back on the top, and Alabama is going to start dropping off this season, it may be the SEC Title game that does it for them, but their time at the top is closing in.
Arkansas St. because they seem to have a really good offense and get a lot of recruits that were almost good enough for the BCS schools that didn't want to go far from home.
