Who is Jonathan Kongbo? Only the #1 rated JC player in USA

The 2018 Mountain West Conference championship game: San Diego State at Wyoming. That's gonna be a good one. I hope that 'Mr T' will be there for this one.

Wait. This season was going to be interrupted or not completed at all and now we are guaranteeing all seasons are not interrupted and all seasons are completed through 2018!!???

You are losing me, DINO. Catch me up to speed here, man.

Any steam on a potential “shock" signing from out of state on Wednesday? It seems like we have gained ground on a few guys.

Nothing in recruiting shocks me anymore.

USC seems to be in decent position to sign defensive linemen Jonathan Kongbo III from Arizona Western and Connor Murphy from Brophy Preparatory. Both Kongbo and Murphy made official visits to USC and have hosted coaches for in-home visits.

But it does show Bohl's knack for finding unknown talent. He just needs to be able to start keeping them, once discovered.

Anyone catch this? It appears Kongbo quit on Tennessee

I don't know what his issue is but would have loved him on one end and granderson on the other. Can you imagine how potent we would be with a consistent pass rush?!

Quitters are going to quit (even mid-season). He wouldn't make it on this team - it's all about him. Good luck in the real world!
Yeah, no chance he would last in Bohl's culture (which is a culture of discipline and winning). The guy seems like a head case.

It's kind of funny, but not coincidental. This year we had no one quit in camp. Bohl said that's a rarity that no one quits in camp. It certainly is for Wyoming. It's hard to remember a camp when football players don't quit.

Now we're 6-2 and it's pretty obvious the whole team is bought in.

It's a shame we have to lose talented players, but it's worth it in the end.

Apparently more Tennessee players are quitting today. I don't believe it's a coach issue, program issue, it's a culture issue. Obviously Kongbo would not have worked out at Wyoming either. Bohl has this uncanny ability to find players who have the right mentality for the game. Give me a 1-2 star player with that kind of mental toughness over the 4 star guy who will call it quits at the first sign of diversity

Interesting listening to this weeks press conferences after the game. Bohl and at least one player brought up unprompted how players the last few years had quit, but "those who stay will be champions."

Well, look where we are right now...

Could you imagine how that could have been. Instead, either he or someone else got in his head and let him think bigger is better.

Those who stay will be champions.

Go Pokes!!
