White out this Saturday

I love the idea if we coukd pull it off, but we probably couldn't in September on a warm afternoon game, much less a cold November night. Like others have said, gonna be a lot of carhart tan and camo out there come Saturday
 
For those talking about the challenge of a whiteout, like i did, athletic site says all fans will receive a white poncho to wear over the top of their stuff as they enter the stadium. Clever move and very necessary, hope crowd is decent.

That can make this a decent possibility, and I really like that. It can look really good when pulled off correctly.
 
Well, looks like I may be road tripping from SLC now. Wife is none too happy...but I have this sudden gut feeling that says UW is going to win this game. Fresno boys will be burning up lungs like a tweeker in a dusty lumber yard.

Maybe it is late. Maybe I am a koolaid sipping glutton for disappointment, but I think I may give it a whirl. Tied up a room at Hilton Garden Inn.... but holy hellfrey tickets are pricey. :nutkick: Anyone have a spare they want to sell?

cool. thanks guys. I will pm you if i pull the trigger on that route. I cant see this game being a sell out...so $56 for a ticket is a little much.
 
I always thought they should try fun things for the fans. I'm fine with one Gold Rush game. But maybe for our game that honors servicemen, I think we should do a fan Camo day. All fans show up in Camo. We are WYO where practically all of us own Camo for hunting.
I also thought it would be interesting to see all WYO fans show up wearing Hunter Orange. It's not brown and gold, but that's the point. Try something new.

Ummm...no. Hunting camo is no way related to military camo. And then having thousands of people wear random bits of military uniform inappropriately is disrespectful to the uniforms and services. Hell, the folks who wear old military coats/shirts and stuff with rank and all that is wrong and inappropriate and disrespectful as well.

lol.. I paid $55 for Montana vs Eastern Washington two weeks ago.
 
how many people on here planning on going to the ice box on Friday....ME and 2 others, if they can hang with me that late...lol
 
We'll be there. We will probably have so many clothes on we will look like bowling balls. I like the idea of them handing out white paunchos.

I never even stated that we where military garb. And it's in no way disrespectful for a citizen to wear hunting Camo. Shoot, they sell Camo football unis at the union for crying out loud! I just picked that day because it's generally when WYO wear their military Camo jerseys... Sometimes I think a lot on here read way to far into these things.
