When was your first Cowboys/Cowgirls game you attended?

Mine was the Arkansas State football game at the WAR in 1990. I also went to the San Diego State game. Great game fortuately our defense finally showed up at the last minute.

Wanted to go to some more in Laramie after 1990 but relocating to Oklahoma killed off that hope. However, I'm going to try to go to a game at the WAR sometime between 2012 and 2014 when Hawaii plays there.

I haven't been able to nail mine down yet. I can tell you it was in the early 80s and it was frickin cold, had on a snowsuit AND a sleeping bag to stay warm. Did a 360 going over a bridge on the ride home. Later I got to go to several games with a middle school buddy whose mom is a huge Cowboys fan.

My son's first game was the home opener against Virginia in 2007 (win) at age 4 and he is totally hooked. We haven't missed a home opener since and don't plan to for the rest of our lives.

My daughter's first game was in 1996, can't remember which game it was, she was about 5 months old. We lived in married student housing at the time.

TwoTone,

Where did you get your Steamboat decal for your truck window? Do they make any bigger ones? like so big your may have to put them on diagonally. Thinking I need one on the drivers side of my rear window. I assume my local sign and decal provider has some but just checking.

October 10, 1955 was my first Wyoming football game. I was 21 months old at the time. We were living in Laramie and my mother was invited by neighbors to go to the game against the CSU Lambs. She said she took me along, but I don't remember going. The sheep managed a 14-13 victory over the Pokes. No wonder I've hated them ever since.

56 years a Poke fan!

On a similar related note, there's a dude driving around Missoula with a Nissan Xterra, giant bucking horses on both sides of his rear side windows then his license plate says GOPOKE5. I had saw this vehicle around town a bit lately and couldn't figure out who it was... then BAM! I meet the guy when I was picking up my tickets for the Foo Fighters at the UM ticket office. Turns out we graduated from Casper College together in 2005. I told him I really dug the bucking horses on his vehicle and he was like, "We gotta spread the word man.. Go Pokes."

My first Wyoming football game was against Wichita State in the early 80's. We won, but it was cold. Have been to over 100 since.

Go Pokes!!

I was far too young to remember, but it was the CSU game in 1985. I've only missed 7 home games since :thumb:

I love seeing Wyoming fans in Public and yelling Go Pokes and they always yell go pokes back or a hel1 yeah!! something along those terms always yelling back, but when my friends yell it to people wearing wyoming gear it seems like they never get a reaction... pretty funny stuff

11 bucks at the UW library. The ones at the brown and gold outlet are bigger in the sense that the outline is wider but they are slightly smaller and VERY over priced. Ive never seen any that were bigger but I assume you could get some made to any spec you wanted.
If you want give Ray a holler. He is pretty good to deal with. If you do tell him TwoTone referred you

Thats pretty cool

If you go to billings you might see my old truck there with steamboat on the back unless the kid took it off. I would ask him but he acted like a total douche after I sold him the truck so I deleted his number haha

I have a big steamboat on the back window of my truck up in Alaska...and have seen several around Fairbanks and on EIelson AFB. I even get "Go Pokes" occasionally while wearing a UW shirt downtown. It's awesome to see other Wyo fans around...especially in the frozen tundra!
