Football showed Casey Bramlet the world. But it wasn’t until his playing days were over that he finally found his home.

The former Wheatland and University of Wyoming standout returned to his home state six years ago after bouncing around professional football for a number of years.

A seventh-round pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2004 NFL Draft, Bramlet was on six NFL rosters (04-08) and played in both NFL Europa (’07) and the Canadian Football League (’09).

“For four or five years, my wife and I didn’t live anywhere longer than six months,” Bramlet said. “We were moving, and I was trying to learn the playbook, trying to make the team and trying to make a living.”
