from our uniforms? Is there anybody that likes these? What purpose do they serve? Do they make the uniforms look better up close, because they certainly don't from a distance.

Let's do what it takes to get that off the jerseys.

The flywire is part of the Nike Pro combat Uniform, it's not going anywhere as it's part of the construction to strengthen the material.

I only know this because I hate it as well and thought it was stupid until I read the reasoning behind it which I'm fine with. I just wish they had made it the same color, Brown on Brown, white on white etc something so it's not so noticeable.

^^^That's fine.....but can't they make that thread white and not black so it doesn't show?

Most teams have the flywire the same color as the jersey not sure Wyoming didn't :(

Well, they've showed off their fly wire long enough, let's make it match the uniform so we don't look like we're wearing a symbol for the Oregon Ducks on our shoulder pads when the owner of Nike is an Oregon grad. I'm pretty sure mad dog picked up some seamstress abilities.

i always thought the flywire was the rubbery stripes on the nfl (and some college) collars
