I agree. Unfortunately, this site is viewed quite a bit by fans of other teams and the general public, and people like to make noise and bring petty legal issues up. I think it was FortFun on MWCBoard that was threatened with legal action because he posted a volleyball picture that wasnt even pornographic.

Yep. Some other poster got on his case about the Sheep volleyball team team pic he had in his sig. He hasn't really been back since.

Problem is a ) some are overly-protective of their kids (hence why I think bulling has gotten worse in the last few years but that another discussion) and b) there are legal problems as well.

I doubt that. First 3-9 year we had in FCS and they would want to drop to DII.

I'm with you, the day we drop to FCS is the day I stop going to games, donating to CJC etc. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way.

I would really like to know the story behind that game. Was Bowden Wyatt pissed off at UNC's coach (John W. Hancock)? Did Hancock give him the finger from across the field? Were the Pokes just unstoppable no matter who they put in and what play they ran?

We have a better chance to be competitive. We lost to an FCS school this year, so that should clue some people in on our level of football right now. Going 2-10 every year just so we can thump our chests and say "well, at least we're D-1" seems pointless, to me. Wyoming only has a D-1 football team in name. Not in player talent or coaching.

No kidding. South Dakota has an FCS team with a coach that has won it all at that level. You should follow them.
