I FOUND THIS COMMENT ON THE DENVER POST WEBSITE....
Find this "revised" article very intertaing. Yesterday this article from the denver post gave reasons as to why Brewer is no longer playing. He was tested in the New Mexico Bowl it claimed and NCAA rules state a year of ineligibility are a cost for anabolic steroid use or "street drugs". All very interesting how denver post and csu are trying to keep this hush hush. It is quite obvious that a year of being ineligible is punishment for something a little more serious than "team violations", considering Brewer was a starter last year. If we continue to give excuses for the young college athletes out there then they never learn a thing, very similar to Brandon Marshall, continues getting in trouble over and over with the law. Very unfortunate.
THIS SOUNDS LEGIT TO ME. I WAS ALSO WONDERING WHAT WOULD CAUSE A COACH/SCHOOL TO SUSPEND A KID FOR A WHOLE SEASON (figuring if it is bad enough to be suspended a season, why not kick him off all together). BUT A SEASON FOR VIOLATING AN NCAA RULE, IT MAKES SENSE TO ME NOW. CHEATERS, CSU = Colorado Steroid Users.
