Special Teams - why not bring an Aaron Eiling in. Kid was a great kicker and played in the NFL.

Guys this is just a thought. No need for name calling or calling me an idiot. I would love to see a staff like this. Would love to see other thoughts. I am excited for this team, the talent is there and so is the heart. Just one good coach away
 
I would love Bouknight back in Laramie wearing Brown and Gold, but I just don't think he is ready to be an OC yet.

I like the names on that coaching staff personally. I would be more hesitant on Spack, and my top choice of those three would be Ogeron. Shannon would be a really nice DC for us as well. I won't go into assistants, but a couple that I like for HC are Bohl, Campbell out of Toledo, Petrino (rather unlikely), Wilcox, Ogeron, Barnett (say what you will but he has proven to turn programs around at CU and Northwestern), Mangino, as well as some of the other names that Kansas previously threw out there as I thought he had a nice list.
 
Typical "we need a Wyoming guy" crap. That doesn't work in the college football landscape!

Bouknight at OC is absolutely laughable!!

I would think so, the problems he had at CU were overblown. He took Northwestern to places they had never been, and was winning division titles at CU regularly. I also heard that he was interested in UW the last time it was open.
 
Barnett's problems at CU were not overblown. I would not support UW football in any way if he's hired.

Yes they were overblown, he did not do much wrong at CU, there was never a criminal charge brought on them for recruiting violations. The investigation said that Barnett never condoned the behavior that happened with some of the players on the football team and that the big problem was recruits going out to parties, which happens all over the country. He eventually got fired due to the fact that they couldn't get over the hump and beat the South division champ in the conference title game. Barnett would turn this program around in a hurry and would be a decent candidate to take over. He wouldn't be my top choice, but he would remain a candidate.

Interesting name, I would be a little hesitant since he has not been a coordinator at any level, and has mainly been a receivers coach everywhere he has been.

No, she was raped by members of the team and the school or coach tried to sweep it under the rug, if I remember right. That was the issue.
