What is the record

now between the pac stabber schools and the teams that will remain in. The MWC?
It gets weird if you try to tally all of the totals, but in a nutshell, it’s pretty even.
Overall records of teams slated to go into the conferences: pac- 36-43; MWC - 32-38
Head to head, they’ve have a slight edge. Mostly because they have played more against us than them when you count games against incoming teams for both. Head to head just in conference is MWC 4-7 against those leaving.
Overall, I think it’s pretty obvious that both “leagues” are very comparable. The top 4 teams in the current MWC are 2 of them and two of us. Again, no superiority to either side. Other than Boise, nobody is a world beater. No matter how you slice it, it just doesn’t make sense that any of the pac-stabbers could believe that they are any better off just because they have Wazzu and a pathetic Oregon State team in their league now. A merger from the start would have made the only conference in the west and exciting one. Oh well, good luck with being Boise’s bitch and having a league with zero rivals in football. We’ll see where the chips fall in about 5 years. Once the big boys invite who they want to the big boy table, we’ll probably all be back together again anyway. Might even have some that get rejected to that table looking for a landing spot. The silver lining might be the new MWC will be more winnable for the Pokes, and if they have some formidable wins in non conference, there’s just as much a chance at a bigger bowl for us as any of them.

The most interesting dynamic will be that wsu and osu have final say in everything. The egos of csu, bsu, and suds are going to have a problem with that. It'll be all roses at first, but the honeymoon will end. They have a competitive advantage in revenue sports now, but I don't expect that to continue as the full effects of revenue share and nil hit home in the coming years. osu
