I hate third quarters. I don't know what it is or why we have issues but our third quarters are BAD and would love to see adjustments. But overall winning is what matters.

Wouldn't you say the third quarter is kind of key to overall winning?

First two series right after halftime pretty much set the tone for the rest of the game. Last Saturday we saw NM get a touch and the 'Boys punt. Luckily, the D forced a timely/necessary pick and B Smitty took it upon himself to win the game to overcome the 180 in momentum.

After TxSt, I was expecting a close game against NM. My mood swung positively with the 21-0 lead and then I had to watch the meltdown. My wife had to get after me for yelling too loud in the stands - no f bombs, but a few JC's. I thought it was over at the end of the 3rd - that was BRUTAL!

Apparently my mother and her boyfriend/better half/whatever you call him (I just call him by his name), saw me on TV during the game. And apparently during the 3rd quarter meltdown. They said I did not look happy about it. I was not.
