what do you guys think about huff rotating to safety

dude has been a stud at corner for us, super athletic, 6'0 tall and built well

with Jesse Sampson having the Achilles injury, huff might help the team most by moving over. That's only if we can find another true number 1-2 corner. DeAndre Jones ive heard is playing well and developing. We have B.J. Hendrix, the new kid Xavier Lewis from Denver, and Parham. Burns has his spot locked down.

we are thinner at the safety spots. We have Chad Reese, Huff, Sampson (hurt), and Darren White listed. with the young guys being Tim Kamana, and Luke Kellum.

in an article earlier in the spring, huff said he's been waiting for the opportunity since high school to play safety for the pokes.

thoughts... should we leave him at corner? let him play both with the risk of confusion?

Good move IMO. I really am not impressed with the DB's at UW though, and haven't been for several years now. We have had the diamonds over the years (T. Gipson, Pro, Wendling, Martin) but we have had some real pussies too.

When the plan is to play the corners 10 - 15 yards off the line of scrimmage so they don't get smoked to begin with - that says something. And it rhymes with Fuster Cluck.

Tormey pulled that same shit at Hawaii.....a lot of the issue is his approach. Not saying the corners are awesome, but Tormey will continue to be a problem.

We did that before Tormey ever got here.

Is it me or does Tormey seem to run the defense as if all his players are elite all-conference type players, even though they clearly aren't.
It seems his defenses might be good if all the players were really good at what they do, but he doesn't have the ability or know how to coach the ones who aren't "elite".
Like he runs a good defense in THEORY but that is it.
