What do we need now?

That was my thought originally, but his coach said that Wyoming was recruiting him as a RB, so my thought is that they want him to play FB.
Hill at FB? That'd be a terrible fit in Bohl's system and a terrible misuse of his skills.

People are going to hate to hear this, but I think Hill fits the mold of back Bohl likes and that we've seen at NDSU the past few years. Only difference is that Hill will have FBS-level breakaway speed, which Ojuri and Crockett didn't have, or McNorton before them.

Or one of our smaller lineman.

You always risk butterfingers when they carry the ball, though.

Malkaam Muhammad has played RB before - he's not huge, but he probably wouldn't be the worst choice either.

Hopefully the FB won't be getting the ball much.

News on a FB, my son Brandon Lukenbill was asked to switch from ILB to FB. He played ILB, FB, Slot Receiver also did punt and kick return in high school so he is familiar with the position. During the Christmas break Brandon put on a few lbs and went back at 235lb, which is good size for a FB :D

Does he like hitting people really hard? Because that would be awesome. :)

Can't wait to see your boy get after it.

He lives for it! The Linebacker core was just getting to full and the Coaches knew that, hence the reason they moved him...He would have been the #2 behind Jordan, but this position will get more use out of him and he is built for it!

Great to hear! I like that the staff is willing to give him a shot on offense to get him on the field. Hopefully he cracks the starting lineup!

We have both CJ Jennings and Robert Priester visiting that are CB's... I really like our chances with Jennings.

There is the feeling Crosby may be more so a FS than a CB at the next level, so we will see there. He would be a very good get imo.

Sadly Flor committed to Air Force last night. I'm not holding my breath with Nash as he seems more interested in Northern Iowa or walking-on to Minnesota.

If Jeffcoat is given the green light, he is 100% a Cowboy. It is interesting to follow our LB recruiting as their are prospects that have been told their offer/visit is no longer there for this weekend. So pretty much LB spot is filled up. Either there is someone committed outside of Alex Bush or the staff made the decision to go with Jeffcoat for the final LB spot. We will know more with that situation this weekend.

Hopefully MacIntyre commits soon to Wyoming but it is not just Colorado but I believe Air Force has offered also... they technically could take him as a QB due to their flex-bone offense.

There has to be more prospects visiting we don't know about yet or there are kids committed that haven't been uncovered yet by the Wyoming media.

Some talk Wyoming may only have 2-3 scholarships left. One reason such a small visiting class. If that is the case, I'm thinking CB, OLB and then either a WR or a S.

We don't need anymore receivers! Unless he's a highly touted stud. We need db's in the worst way. Especially safety.

Just a quick note about scholarships…Just because you have 25 or so doesn’t mean you should give out as many. As the father of an invited walk-on going into his third year, I can tell you that there are several invited walk-ons that have trained at D1 level and are better than some of these new scholarship players…some of which were told that they would receive scholarships this year by the previous staff. Coach Bohl and his staff have not even seen the in house talent that they have yet and are giving out scholarships like kids in a candy store. I’m just saying we have 20 plus kids on the team that have earned at least a look, before the candy jar is empty!

They are rebuilding this team from the ground up. They have said numerous times the positions they intend to build the team around and we are in the initial stages of that rebuild. I'm impressed with how quickly they have gotten recruits to campus and to buy in. Coach Bohl insisted no scholarships would be given to any kid that isn't "above the line". Are all of these offers to kids "above the line"? That's the question I have...I'm optimistic but cautiously.
