Did anyone else notice the play with about 3 or 4 minutes left in the game when Josh ran the ball to the right side and picked up some yards when #6 from csu got in on the tackle, then held Josh down, and then drug his knee & foot across Josh's neck & face when he got up? There was no flag and I could tell Josh was pissed about it and wanted to run it right down his throat the next play.

Yep, the commentators mentioned it too. Definitely not an accident, and should've been 15 yards.
Meh, it's the border war. It wasn't any type of flagrant contact that could've caused an injury to Josh, so I don't think it's anything worth complaining about. I'm sure both teams were trying to get away with stuff like that after each play.

I'd have an issue if Josh was injured or if his helmet came off because of it and he would've had to sit out the next play. But in that case it most likely would have been a penalty.

Meh hell, it should have been flagged.

Should have been flagged. When you let stuff like that go things get dirty fast. They were pushing off players all night when getting up after the end of the play. Pretty dirty, I remember temple doing that in the NM bowl.

Just got back from that one and it's going into Border War lore as the "Snow Game".

Man, what a blast. I feel blessed to have been a part of it, especially after Jean, Jean(#54), the dancing machine suddenly lost his ability to dance with 4:00 left in the game. Somehow, the WWF belt carrying greenie lost the desire to show off his belt right when Overstreet punched it into the end zone. In fact, all the CSU players that we're dancing, jawing, and taunting Wyoming fans got extremely quiet and humble about 2 minutes after I yelled, "It's not over yet, you greenie pussies."

Bravo Wyoming. That ties the fog bowl as my favorite Border War to see in person.

I am looking for highlights or a video of the touchdown drive. I had to miss the game and could only get spotty radio reception so I want to see a little of what happened.

Go onto Wyoming Cowboys Football on Facebook. The highlights are there.

I can't believe the students throwing snowballs during the game at the CSU players and I'm even more surprised the refs did not throw a flag. Young kids are going to be young kids and drunk young kids are going to be drunk young kids but how pissed would you have been if a snow ball landed on a ref or a csu player and wyo got unsportsmanlike conduct penalty at a critical point in the game? It was just plain stupid.

That being said they did not throw a flag and we walked away triumphant!

Those CSU jerks deserved to be clobbered by snowballs for the way they taunted the crowd

I know they deserved what ever they got but by the rules of the game we should have been flagged each time something was thrown from the stands. I'm grateful they were patient with it but I would have been irate if the students cost us the game.

After they made the announcement on the P.A. at the game that snowballs would result in a 15 yard penalty, I saw a couple of the CSU fans that were left at the game start throwing snow balls at their own players and coaches, trying to draw a penalty on Wyoming.

That rule would be extremely hard to enforce.

I was on the student side and it wouldn’t have been too hard to enforce it coming from the student section.

I imagine it probably was a lot easier to flag the student section. :D

Still, I just thought it was pretty cheesy that Greenies would start aiming for their own to draw a flag.

ONE i'll truly not forget anytime soon, the snow flakes were sooo big!!!! It's always sucks to be a CSU Ram!!!!
