I'm more worried about this bye Week than I am about who we can or can't beat. Bye weeks are not good for us, Going all the way back to 2002 only 1 time have we won following a bye week. I'm not sure if we lose focus or we just get all relaxed and stupid or what but fuck bye weeks.

And last year we didnt have any bye weeks and we cried about we need to make up our minds :roll:
 
I never cried about it I was more than happy not having a bye week last year we just played poorly a good majority of the year and on top of that we suffered the same issue we never seem to kick which is never nailing the coffin shut.
 
Wyo is beating sdsu. Flight leaves slc at high noon on Friday. Going down to watch them play. Here is to Hillman spraining an ankle this week.

You know that we have a bye this week, right? SDSU game is on the 29th.
 
Yes, I know we have a bye. I am just saying that Hillman has 12 days or so to sustain an injury to keep him out next week.
 
I think we have a legitimate shot against both the Aztecs and Falcons this year.
AFA has always been a tough game every year for us. And they always seem to get on top at the very end of the game. But, their D is struggling this year and we always stop their offense enough to stay in the game, I'm seeing Wyoming putting up 30 points this year on those Falcons and holding their O to only 24.

The Aztecs are a good team, but, they are not world beaters, and never play great against Wyoming. Case in point, The score since DC has been here (W 30-27) (L 38-48). Their D has always been suspect, and I don't see anything this year to change my mind on that. I see us putting up 34 to 40 on the Aztecs offensively. I honestly, see us running the same defensive scheme we played last year. Because, it stopped their running game (which is all they have this year, and I bet they only pass for 180 to 200 yards against us this year. Plus, Lindley has never played great against Wyoming. even though he had 365 yards passing last year he only managed to complete 50% of his passes and had 2 picks. The year before he only passed for 200 yards and no tds or int's. I see a game about like that for him this year against us. If we stop the running game like we did last year then SDSU is going to have a very long day. If we manage their run game enough then I see them at least putting up 28 to 30 on us.
We shall see what happens, but, I think this is the year we break out. Utah St. was a fluke. get ready for Wyoming to manage well against our conference opponents this year.
