Well, that was embarrassing....

We were so bad, we didn't even look like we deserved to be on the same court as them. I would tell the players to never admit that they went to Logan today.

The announcers are like, what can we say about that game, it was a blow-out!

Why would they schedule this Wyoming team to be on TV again this season?

Wow, I can't believe that Wicks ever would have thought this team could be competitive with any of the upper teams in the conference. What is so sad, is that Utah State has been in the same situation as us, they have lost coaches and players but they seem to bounce back, and UW? We have Tom Burman.....do I need to say anything more?

But we were good in Non Conference...lol
Sorry to disagree, but it was fools gold. We beat a bunch of nobodies. The 2 decent programs we played, we lost to both of them. Our OOC strength of schedule was #177. Without Sam Houston and TT, it must have been in the 200's. As it turns out, beating the crap out of Minot Valley A & M wasn't a great feat.

It was a joke.....

Yes, the competition in the MWC is much better than what we faced in the majority of our non-conference schedule, but there is something else up with this team.

Those two losses in non-conference that you mention, Sam Houston State and Texas Tech, were true road games that we were competitive in up until the very end of the game. Outside of the Fresno State game, we have not even been competitive in our conference losses this season. Boise State is a decent team, but they should not be beating us by 20 at half time on our home floor.

We are playing worse basketball since conference season began. It isn't just the competition being better.

100%. This is my assessment too. The team we are watching now would have lost several more games in non-conference. Very concerning.

Maybe the continual hammering of his players in plain view is taking its toll? I dunno.
I think that is double edged sword though. If you don't show the urgency to your players what it takes to win then it looks like you don't care. If you show too much, then it looks like they can't do anything right. I think Coach Wicks is trying to find that balance the last few games. All I know is right now it looks like he has lost this team. It seems they are getting tired of trying to run Wicks system and its not working.

On a related note, the zone last night was a terrible decision. Especially in the 2nd half. You give up 50 points in the first half and you don't change anything?? That was crazy dumb in my opinion. It doesn't get any worse if you just switched from the zone to man to man in the 2nd half.

In his post-game interview, Sunny made it sound like he had pretty much given up on the game at that point and just wanted to see if the guys could get the zone figured out or not. Obviously, they couldn't. I doubt we see it again.

They can’t get over or switch on the high ball screen in man-to-man and they can’t play zone. Any team capable of shooting 3’s will kill them.
