Cowboys had a pretty bad day. We have some significant injuries and our depth isn't quite what it needs to be. Wish we could have capped off with a bowl win, but still a great season.

Overall, we had a pretty successful season. If you would have asked me if I would have taken an 8-5 season with a loss in the bowl game, I would have taken it. Cowboys played tough this year. Brett Smith is a competitor. I just hope we parlay this season into next and take that big step forward.

Here's to the cowboys making that progression.
