A couple of guys predicting an easy win???

I have no idea what to expect. I hope for a win going away, but it all depends on Smith and the D-Line. We have to pressure the QB and we're going to have to throw the ball at some point.

We beat them two years ago with a Frosh QB, new coaches, and a bunch of JG recuirts. They were second in the Big Sky that year. They supposedly have a much worse team, and our talent should have been upgraded across the board. I just don't see this one being all that close. It'll likely be close at halftime, Smith settles in in the second half and we win going away. Speed kills baby, and I think we are a damn quick team as compared to '09.

Crazy? Yeah, maybe. but we're all fans. There are some nutso's here who think Wyoming will win 8-9 games this year.

I guess we will all find out. It's easy to predict a terrible season. Look at all the preseason predictions. They are almost a mirror image of each other and based off last year's standings. Forget all of it. Cowboys need to prove themselves on the field!

I really don't think the game is going to be close. I think Weber wins this one with relative ease. Finally, the curse against FBS teams is broken behind the play of Hoke, our OL, 5 RBs, and three freshmen WRs.

after reading this thread we can all agree everyone thinks their team will win. on the utah st forum they are thinking they could have beatin utah this yr because they didnt destroy montana st. usu will be assuming wyo, weber and csu are all wins for them.

my only prediction is 0 wyo sacks against weber. we return our same oline which is our team's biggest strength. they allowed 0 sacks in like 5 games last yr including boston college and montana.

i really hope our dline is vastley improved. our dline was a weakness that hurt our team most of the year. very young and our best player didnt play last yr but is now back for this yr.

Yep. Opening game last year, was our first one in the 4-3 defense. By season's end, the defense, especially our ends, had come into their own. And both are back and better than last year.

i dont expect to see many sacks against us this yr unless we have a QB that doenst know what he is doing. we return 5 starters, a 2-3 will be all conf 1st team, and the all american will probab be drafted. we have had 4 0-line go to the nfl under mcbride. i think one wasnt drafted though.

dont assume our oline is a joke just because they are labeled "fcs".

fletcher was a preseason all mwc. i thought he was a senior. he was an nfl prospect. i think there was 2 nfl prospects on your dline that yr. i think johnson had a sack too. those were the 2 nfl dline prospects i think. they were fresh/sophs? yikes.

we averaged about 1 pick-six against us per game last yr. im loooking forward to real football, running game this yr. the last part of our season all we did was run. it was fun to watch. we had the line and running backs to do it. i would love to see us run the option. we could do it with our new qb, mostly new running backs though this yr.
