Kansas just had some bad ice storms. Wasn't pretty for quite a few down here. I'd prefer the blizzards of WYO.
I actually enjoy it too, we were just joking last night walking over to the game that you know you're from Wyoming when a 10 min walk in 12 degrees is plum niceCornpoke said:I am the only one that enjoys Wyoming weather? Exactly. 12 degrees this time of year is shorts and t-shirt weather :lol:wyokoke said:I actually enjoy it too, we were just joking last night walking over to the game that you know you're from Wyoming when a 10 min walk in 12 degrees is plum niceCornpoke said:I am the only one that enjoys Wyoming weather? I am not in favor of a dome but I think it would be cool to have the first retractable roof in college football! Although I'm sure with the pussification of Wyoming culture the roof would be closed every game.WyoExpat said:I totally agreed...until I went to a campus where the "scenery" was still in shorts, skirts, and tight shirts at this time of year.
On a different note, I would have loved to take my son to the game today, but I do not want to have him spend that much time standing out in the cold after a week of feeling ill. I sometimes wonder whether an enclosed, multi-sport stadium might actually be a good thing in Laramie? How would such a facility affect soccer, track & field, or other sports that use a similarly-sized facility?
We could even look at it as a statewide investment that could link more WHSAA culminating events to the university (and its admissions office).
