Did some YouTube watching of both Kastantin and Holmes.
Not much to see with Kastantin but looks like he has potential if surrounded by a decent lineup. He has FBS offers from UTEP and Wyoming. From what I could see he looks like Anderson physically in the pocket but has a better pocket presence of when to tuck and run. Doesn’t look to me like a feature running QB but with a decent line that makes blocks along with some stout RB play it would open up opportunities to do designed QB runs effectively.
Holmes is easier to find. He reminds me of Chambers but with a little better throwing accuracy. I would rate Chambers the better runner. From the same Bohl era, Holmes looks much better than Van Der Waal.
Both of these prospects can look marginal when their teammates are getting handled by the opposition and look solid when able to be the dominant team physically. Basically that applies to all recruits as well.
The key for either of these guys is get some speed at the WR position and run the offense in a way that creates separation. They both look like they can hit their targets instead of throwing the ball 5 feet higher or wider than the target.
Can’t say I saw the next D2 Trinidad Chambliss in either of these QB’s but the potential for improvement at the QB position as compared to the last two years.
