Shitty ass 4th quarter, but we will win next week against Davis and eastern Michigan and get our mojo back to play CSU and Air force . Pokes need to clean things up but I think we are on the right track.

As some of y'all know I did talk a little crap during the week :p thing to keep in mind is Allen is a good QB, but he caved on himself. Wyo is a bowl team IF they finish games as well....

He got in a hole and kept digging. That would be the downside of a gunslinger.

The goal is bowl eligibility. To achieve eligibility, a 3-1 September is likely required. Wyo is still on course. Nothing to fret over. Just need to take care of business vs. the next two inferior opponents.

Sounded like a rather good game until the implosion. Didn't even sound like Nebraska had to do anything except for one int where the route was jumped. The other ones were over throws etc?

The one INT into a pick 6 was a tipped ball, though the offense responded with a TD of their own.

It was a Nebraska WR pushoff on one of our DBs that went for a TD that began the meltdown.

We will be good in conference, Bohl is a winner. Next year worries with me the loss of Gentry and Maulhardt. I hope some of Bohl's receivers are at that level. I saw Parker caught a decent pass tonight. Line backers next year are another concern( May and Wacha are good) it's good to be back into normal program problems like replacing seniors.

Note: dc brought in some talent. May have been the worst coach ever to not win.

Guess NIU wasn't a quality win, though. Holy cow they got slaughtered.

They also lost their quarterback for the season early in the game, along the lines of why they finished so poorly last year, having lost the QB.

My 2 cents. We had a lousy 1st quarter, and part of the 2nd quarter. Despite that, we weren't down by all that much. We got it together right before half time and continued that trend through the 3rd quarter. It was a game until a couple bad calls gave the Huskers 2 TDs and all the momentum. At that point, down 21 points, we were going to lose unless we started taking chances. We did and they didn't work out. The degenerate gamblers are probably unhappy, but in terms of record, a loss by 7 points is the same as a loss by 35 points. If the choice is losing a game by more than predicted, or lose a game we were predicted to win, I'll take the former every time.

The meltdown is all that worries me. They lost their composure and need to regain it quickly. Allen needs to come back focused or else this could turn into another very long season.

They were in the game until that missed offensive pass interference call. It still would have been a tough game to win with the call, but that touchdown seemed to deflate Wyoming. This team isn't good enough to overlook either of the next two opponents. It's time to put a 1 in the loss column and focus on the next game.

Whenever there is a loss, it's always an implosion...self-inflicted. It's never another team bowing up and stomping your ass into the dirt.

Let's see what your excuse is next week against a superior Oregon team. This Wyoming team isn't that good and stuck with Nebraska until the 4th quarter when they fell apart. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what happened. Nebraska was clearly the better team, but they're average at best. Enjoy the season while you can because Nebraska is in for another mediocre season.

Shut the fuck uyp. no call on the offensive PI. Us gifting you a TD on that lateral, and the pick 6 that was a perfectly thrown ball that bounced off of our receiver's hands right into your DB's. Yeah. you guys did a whole lot to drive the nail into the coffin. Moron.
