Wyoming struggled mightily against South Dakota School of Mines who is a terrible DII school in the RMAC. Ezell got a 5 year extension back in 2024 so I wonder how much patience Wyoming has when her buyout would be $550K since she got the magical 5 year guaranteed.

The same issues continue to haunt them with poor shooting and a lot of turnovers (Edwards Era).

Lmao she got a fully guaranteed contract??? Wow. Reason #9,453 Burman should be fired

Anyone could have seen she is a crap coach when she couldn’t even win with generational talent

I looked at VBB and it appears her contract is guaranteed also. Their salaries are significantly lower though so the payout pricetag would not be as high

They were without Rumpf who is at home with a family emergency but I am not sure that would have changed the outcome much

It hurt, no doubt, but this is not a good team. We will be lucky to eke out 5 wins. Another once-great program in the dustbin.

Lost by 34 at home to *checks notes* Santa Clara?! As was discussed the last few years, Ezell is way, way out of her league, and has no business coaching at Wyoming. Another case of Burman taking the easy route.
