Washington killed SDSU

Washington destroyed San Diego State yesterday.

Played great defense, and built their lead as the game went on. Gave up a little run late to make the score look less impressive than the game really was.

SDSU was down by 20 at times in the 2nd half.

MWC is getting rocked in a BAD way this season by the Pac12.

Wyo beat CU and needs to beat Cal. But SDSU has beaten Utah but lost to Arizona and Washington, and AFA lost to CU, UNLV lost to Arizona State and Stanford, New Mexico lost to USC.

Ugh, this is embarrassing.

Boise beat St. Mary's on the road. Not much the MW has to brag about. Feels like a 1-2 bid year.

Not good. Afterall, I've ran my mouth to some new friends up here about how Wyoming and MWC hoops are far superior to the overrated product the Pac12 puts on the court...

I mean we all know Arizona is great, but then all of a sudden Washington and Utah are ranked and looking great. Not to mention Alford at UCLA is likely to pick it up and contend towards end of the season. Afterall they did win the Pac12 Tourney and end up in the freakin Sweet 16 in year 1 of Alford.

Now we have ourselves, SDSU, and the Rams to pull the weight of the MWC? Great.

That's a good win, though. I thought I read that St. Mary's hasn't lost at home to a non-conference team in a number of years. They actually play good teams too.

There's still a lot of non-conference left. It feels like the strength of our non-conference schedule was front-loaded, but a lot of the conference is more back-loaded. The way that Boise has played so far this year, I would have never expected them to win at St. Mary's. Maybe some schools are about to catch their stride. Air Force started awful, but I think they're playing better basketball right now. Boise definitely is. UNLV sucks. SDSU will come around.

Hopefully we just take care of our own business and don't have to worry about bubble talk.
