With the Pokes getting a bye week, I fully believe Wyo can beat Boise State.
Wyo needs to play damn near perfect- no dumb penalties, Kirk needs to make some extra special throws, and the team needs to actually believe in themselves.
I think Bohl will have the team ready to play. They will have a game plan and I think Wyoming is in for a good surprise once or twice a year with Bohl. I just hope the Fresno, Montana, FAU, and AFA games counted as our surprises.
Wyoming can play ball control from Boise, grind it out, and end up on top of the score board, meaning they need to go to ABQ to get a 6th win to go bowling. Which is definitely possible if they do beat Boise.
But if Wyoming does not beat Boise, do we play Thorton/Young instead of Kirk? It's only one game, so playing for the future won't be that helpful, especially while next years QB is going to be Coffman and can't play until next season anyways.
Hopefully we don't have that dilemma for the New Mexico game.
But if we are, well then I have to say Bohl fits right in at Wyoming where the yearly average record is 5-7.
