It's nice to get noticed. trust me, even just getting votes, down here in Jayhawk, Shocker, and Wildcat country people notice who is even getting votes. But why is CU still receiving more votes than us in the coaches poll? Either way. It is good to get into the top 25 early and to continue to progress in the standings because then you solidify your spot in the field of 68.

So this is the earliest in the season with this weak of a SoS that Wyoming has received votes since 2002. Feels good to know that at least some people out there watched the games and see the changes that have been made.

The new practice area is already paying off, Watching that walk through video it sounded like practice before would be 3-4 people practicing while other would stand around and wait for room to open up. The fact that everyone can practice at the same time is a nice step in the right direction along with this coaching staff.

why don't we try to schedule teams like Creighton, witchia state, Gonzaga? I've always wanted to see us play those teams ooc. every year, same stuff.

Good luck. I've heard so many interviews of Bill Self, he doesn't schedule anyone he doesn't think will help him get a top spot in the tourney. I thought it was a little self righteous myself. HAHA! Get it. Self. Self righteous! Ha!!! I'm having a good day.

Wichita st. We used to schedule them until they changed coaches. I don't know about them.

I could ask what happened to the MWC/MVC challenge?

Any recognition at the national level is good for Wyoming's program. It certainly can't hurt on the recruiting trail. I'm just surprised that a writer from the Big 12 was the one to give Wyoming three of its four AP points. Some of these voters are very biased, regionally, with their ballots. I guess you just have to expect that, though. Just thinking that an ex-CST guy WHO LIVED IN LARAMIE, along with MWC beat writers (Grammer excluded) would show league teams a little more love.

Brian Howell in Boulder must've missed the WYO-CU curb stomping. :lol:
