To take a similar position at Northern somewhere (Arizona, Colorado, you pick it). Don't know the whys, and frankly, don't care. Just thought some would want to know.
 
That's too bad. Probably UNC. I'm guessing Mark Branch will have someone more than capable to replace him soon.
 
His brother just finished up his career at UW, so it can't be too surprising. I do agree, I am sure there are many very good assistants out there who would jump at the chance to be on Branch's staff.
