Very Impressed with the Pokes Turnaround

You guys had some bad luck but I was very impressed. The physical play is night and day from last year.

I was dead wrong about your RB. What an effort. 5 ypc, 122 hard fought yards. He's the real deal with speed and gets big time yards after contact. Initially, I was disappointed with the D for allowing it but I think their effort was admirable too given they played most of the game with 3 LBs who were 3rd and 4th string on the depth chart to begin the year. It could have been worse. Hill is damn good.

Colby was better than Grayson in every aspect, Mobility, arm accuracy. Your O-line and D-line dominated the Aggies all night.

The officials needed to lighten up. Although the flags went both ways since you guys were actually moving the ball and trying to play catch up it really hurt the Pokes. I don't want to pay that kind of money to sit in the sleet and watch yellow flags. Its too bad it had such an impact.

Thought overall you are far better than the Rams. Don't know how we managed to lose that game. Now go get the Donkeys!!!

Just to put his performance into context, here are the top individual rushers against USU this season:

Marlin Lane (Tennessee) - 11 carries, 41 yards
Xavier Finney (ISU) - 23 carries, 88 yards
Isaiah Robinson (WF) - 9 carries, 13 yards
Johnston White (ASU) - 18 carries, 100 yards
Jamaal Williams (BYU) - 16 carries, 102 yards
Jacobi Owens (AFA) - 14 carries, 54 yards
Dee Hart (CSU) - 12 carries, 60 yards
Keith Whitely (UNLV) - 7 carries, 18 yards
Steven Lakalaka (Hawaii) - 11 carries, 57 yards
Brian Hill (Wyoming) - 25 carries, 122 yards

Only the third 100-yard rusher, and first in a month.

I don't know what you been smokin but Grayson never looked like he was hurried when we played them and he was quite accurate.

Colby is fairly sound but it looked to me that there was a big difference in the two.
