Verbal No. 8: LB Ryan Gatoloai-Faupula

There are a couple LDS returned missionary kids in the two deep on the team right now. I know Paul Schwab is and also Niela Lolohea is as well. I always thought we could get a few more mormon kids to come to UW if we had a coach that knew how to deal with the mission situation.

On a side note. The rule has changed in the LDS church so that kids can leave on their missions when they are 18 now instead of 19, so it might make it easier for coaches to navigate that situation. It looks like we have a small mormon pipeline going on. haha I am LDS as well and I know there has usually been a couple of LDS kids on the Wyoming team but it would always be nice to add a couple more each year especially if they are as good as this kid from Sacremento looks. :D

Lds here as well. I welcome any lds kids who chooses Wyoming over byu [emoji14].

Is the explosion or recruits this week a direct result of Boise or were these silent commits who are just now announcing? Anyone know?
I would say the last three or four are direct results of recent winning and Boise pushed them over the edge.

The national exposure and all the press Wyoming has received this week is definitely helping. But three of these guys were at the game and were able to take it all in. All committed within a day or two of leaving Laramie.
