I haven't had any luck on indeed or craigslist but I was looking for a new team member in Laramie and was trying to think outside the box and thought I would try the Wyoming board to see if anyone in the area student/former student might be interested in an evening position.


I am the Colorado District Manager with Ally Waste. I am currently looking for a new team member in Laramie to join us in Valet Trash Collection.

Our service involves collecting residents' trash door-to-door at an apartment complex in Laramie. We then transport the trash to the compactor on-site using our cart. While having your own pickup truck can expedite the process, we do provide a cart at the property for trash collection.



This part-time evening position operates Sunday through Thursday nights, starting at 7 PM. The collection typically takes between 1 to 2 hours. The nightly rate is $60, and payment is issued every Friday via direct deposit, with a one-week delay.

Every renter's favorite scam...valet trash. Great at squeezing every last dollar out of often cash-strapped renters and putting that money into the pocket of apartment managers!

God forbid a renter might have to walk 100 feet (maybe more...gasp) to a dumpster and toss the bag in themselves. What if they fall and hurt themselves? Clearly, it's much better to have a very narrow window of times and days where the trash has to be placed in a very specific spot outside your door so that the trash collectors can skip actually picking up the trash for 20% of the paying renters based on them not meeting some oddly specific way the bag has to be tied. And don't put anything too heavy in there...the trash won't get picked up and you might even be rewarded with a fine!
