UW Streaming

Anyone know if they have done away with UW Streaming it seems like all the games are either ESPN/Root/MWC/CBS but there are no links for local streaming like they have had the last few years.

Disappointing if they have done away with it but I suppose it could be based on the AA construction as well.

UW streaming goes through the MWC website. But other than that, you'll have to do sites like firstrow.

Ya I know it goes through gowyo/mwc site but the schedule will usually list if it's going to be streamed by UW and there are none of those listing. Local streams have nothing to do with the MWC directly it's all school equipment and local streams are where you hear Dave & Kevin announcing with the video feed.

Basically it's what I worked so hard with the school to improve the quality of so we would always have video even without it being on TV.

It appears they haven't added the icon to the schedule yet maybe it's too early, We'll see a little closer to the game and see if it's back.

I'm sure that the new media room is part of the AA renovations. That may be why we haven't seen anything about it yet.

I am hoping it is just too early. Being able to watch all the games, and even watch the replays of the local streaming and MWC Network games, has been fantastic. Would hate to lose that ability since most schools have it now.

Pretty sure the MW network will be the same as the local streaming.

In the UW announcement about the TV schedule, they indicated that you'd be able to watch every single game either on TV or via internet stream.

No they are different, We wouldn't have MWC announcers for every game only games that are advertised. Just crossing my fingers for it being too early for them to start listing them and going to reach out to the UW media department that I worked with last time to make sure.

I didn't remember there being games on MW that actually had broadcasters and didn't use the schools. But guess there were or at least will be this year. But as Wyopig said, they said every game will be available either on tv or online.
